Content

In order to teach, you must understand. Educators must have a breadth and depth of content knowledge in their material to create a base for educating. This knowledge of the content will allow the educator to present the information in a way that will allow for a mastery of the content. This understanding of the content itself will allow for the educator to create an accessibility of knowledge that allows for each individual to obtain the content knowledge through a variety of means correct for their learning needs. Creating this access of the content will include both digital and cross-disciplinary skills that will help students to not only obtain the knowledge but also to implement it. Through this presentation of content educators will make information easily obtainable and relevant, helping the learner not only to discover the knowledge but to connect it to their lives and find meaning.
